What does my water baptism symbolize?

My faith in Jesus Christ and the fact that I am born again and have entered into the kingdom of heaven.

How does the water baptism relate to the born-again experience?

It is an outward sign of an inward occurrence.

What is water baptism?

​It is an outward sign (immersion in water) of an inward occurrence (being born again with the Holy Spirit now residing in your spirit).

I was baptized as a baby, do I need to do it again?

​Yes, water baptism is a step of YOUR faith where a baptism as a baby is a tradition representing the faith of the child's parents; the commitment that parents make to raise their child in the Christian faith.

Will I not go to heaven if I don't get baptized?

​You are assured eternal life in heaven when you put your faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection. You confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and the ONE who died so we can reconcile our spirit with God. Water baptism is not required. ​

Who should baptize me?

A believer in Jesus Christ.

Do I need to be baptized in a church?

​No, it could be in a body of water, a pool, where you can immerse yourself!

What do I wear?

​Short sleeve shirt, shorts or long pants. Darker clothes are better as some colors are more transparent!
